Frequently Asked Questions

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for custom medals and apparel?

For custom die-cast medals, our minimum typically starts at 50 pieces to keep your unit as cost effective as possible. For apparel, we offer lower minimums starting at 12–24 pieces depending on the decoration method (screen printing vs. embroidery).

Can you match the colors of our logo exactly on both the shirts and the medals?

Yes! We use Pantone (PMS) color matching. While the texture of a soft cotton shirt and a polished metal medal are different, we use the same color codes to ensure your branding remains consistent across all your event swag.

What file format do I need to provide for my design?

To ensure the crispest print and the most detailed medal mold, we prefer vector files (.AI, .EPS, or .PDF). If you only have a low-resolution .JPG or .PNG, don't worry—our in-house design team can often help recreate your logo for production.

What is the difference between "die-cast" and "die-struck" medals?
  • Die-Cast: Molten metal is poured into a mold. This is best for 3D designs, intricate cut-outs, and large quantities.
  • Die-Struck: A design is stamped into a sheet of metal. This is great for classic, high-relief "coin-style" medals.
  • We can help you choose the best version based on your budget and design.
Do you offer eco-friendly options for race apparel?

Absolutely. We offer a variety of sustainable options, including recycled polyester (made from plastic bottles) and organic cotton. These are very popular for "Green Races" and trail running events and are virtually indistinguishable from non-recycled fibers.

Can I see a proof before my order goes into full production?

Yes. We provide a digital mockup for every order. For large-scale medal orders, we can also provide a photo of the physical "first-off" sample from the mold to ensure every detail is perfect before we cast the rest.

How do I choose how to embellish my apparel?
  • Screen Printing: Best for large designs on t-shirts and hoodies; it stays lightweight and visually crisp.
  • Embroidery: Best for hats, polos, and left-chest logos where you want a premium, professional look that lasts forever.
  • Dye-Sublimation:  digital technology that uses heat and pressure to turn solid dye into gas, infusing it directly into polyester fabrics or polymer-coated surfaces. The gas permeates the material, creating durable, vibrant, and, full-color prints that won't crack, peel, or fade, making it ideal for apparel. And, it does not change the breathability and moisture management properties of the fabric!
Do your medals include the neck ribbons?

Yes! Every custom medal comes with a standard 7/8" or 1.5" grosgrain neck ribbon. We can also provide fully customized "sublimated" ribbons with your race name and sponsor logos printed directly on the fabric.
